Wide variety of mint error coins have been purchased
I have a little time to offer a few attributions from a lot of three major mint error coins that I purchased from a source in India. One of the harder things to do is find a good source to obtain some error coins that are exactly or, better than shown by the seller. I managed to find a good source of these mint errors and I have a lot of clients that want the drama and the appeal of the error coins. Sometimes this combination is not the easiest to locate.
It take a lot of patience in order to get these coins from an overseas source. I order them and I typically have to wait close to a month or more for the order to get here. Then, I realized when these coins are in hand that some of these major mint error coins can be too tall or too wide to fit in a third party grading company slab. They are definitely tight when placed into a 2×2 plastic flip. I will be researching to find a happy medium in order to house these dramatic error coins in a safe and secure manner.
My original goal was to purchase as many die caps as I could find, staying within the already established ” dramatic but appealing” boundaries. When I seen a few of the multi-struck coins, I could not resist purchasing several of these as well. Some how I ended up with almost the exact number of die caps and multi-struck error coins, which is a good thing, I can easily display a dozen or so of them in our stand up display cases and let the collectors purchase or simply enjoy looking these dramatic error coins over.

This coin I purchased since it exhibits what “too many strikes” can do to a major mint error. In my opinion, a coin should have the balance of Drama and Appeal. This one is right on the edge of the “appeal” side. I bought it since it was evident that there were multiple strikes on this coin – in excess of 12.
Massive, dramatic and eye appealing Die Cap a major mint error coin !
When I seen the original photos of this die cap, I thought that this would be sufficient for me to display it in a case and show error collectors, coin collectors, clients and customers what a good looking die cap looks like. This die cap is almost overwhelming. It is truly a fine example.
We have a total of 27 coins from India. I managed to pick out the best of the best. These are sure to be a hit with the error collectors, coin collectors and everyone that loves error coins. As I find the time I will add additional photos.
