Up for sale is an United Kingdom 10 Pence struck on wrong planchet.  Attribution confirms that this 10 Pence coin was more than likely struck on a 5 Pence planchet.

This coin has been identified as a 10 Pence – Elizabeth II (3rd portrait; large type, set issue) which was struck in the UK during 1985-1992.
This was produced as a Non-circulating coin (probably from a UK annual mint set), which means it was not struck for public use and the coin availability may be very limited.

This major mint error coin struck on a wrong planchet weight is 3.19 grams.
A normal 10 Pence planchet weight is  11.3 grams.

This major mint error coin planchet is a non-magnetic planchet.

Comments:

These coins can only be found in Annual Coin Sets in both Brilliant Uncirculated & Proof versions.

No 10 Pence coins were issued for circulation from 1982 until 1992 when the 10 Pence coin was reduced in size, this was due to the fact that pre-decimal florins were still circulating as part of the decimalization process having a value of 10 Pence. Florins were finally demonetized in 1993 along side this larger 10 Pence issue type.
